Generous Billionaires

Kudos to billionaire Warren Buffett for passing along 85% of his fortune to charity before he passes away. He gave it to Bill Gates' foundation, so he knows for sure it will actually be used for charitable purposes (slim chance Bill will skim any off the top!)

It sure makes Senator "Dollar" Bill Frist from Tennessee look like a whiney crybaby. He wants to repeal the estate tax so he can pass along his millions to his offspring without burdening them with taxes. It only affects estates in excess of $25 million. Waah!

Peace.

An Inconvenient Truth

Click here to pledge to see "An Inconvenient Truth" on the opening weekend when it comes to your town. It is a "must see" movie for anyone who cares about the earth we all share.

Peace.

Morning Shows & Coulter

Is anyone else as disgusted with Ann Coulter as I am? Or does everyone else know what a pig she is already?

I saw her interview with Matt Lauer and decided that I can't watch the Today show anymore, even though they've gotten rid of Katy Couric (finally!). They just will interview any piece of trash if they think it will boost their ratings.

I don't believe Diane Sawyer would ever sink so low; let's hope not, or I'll have to watch Brian Gumbel. He is a little too full of himself for my taste.

Maybe all you folks with day jobs don't even know what I'm talking about. Good for you--daytime TV sucks.

Peace.
